Pardon the Hiatus!

by Colette Conway

Hello again Frugal Finds readers!  My sincerest apologies for the recent hiatus.  I started a design project for an adorable young family who purchased their first home in Wilmette, and it has been taking up most of my time (in the best way possible!).

As a family with a young child, these clients wanted to make their home not only chic but comfortable and practical.

I have been searching high and low to find amazing, unique finds at enviable prices.  It is quite a bit of work, but I love every minute of it!

Take a look at some of the finds that I am most proud of.  It is a total rush finding something amazing at an even more amazing price.  In the best interest of the client, I not able to reveal the source or the price, but trust me they are all great deals and steals!

I am so excited to begin a new Frugal Finds design project for a newlywed couple in Wilmette!  Having also grown up on Chicago's North Shore, I have a great affinity for the area, and of course, finding the best of chic, budget friendly decor to brighten other's spaces and therefore lives.

Are you interested in Frugal Finds design services?  I would love to hear from you! (please email me at frugalfindsinfo1@gmail.com).   My creative juices are always flowing, and I am always looking to tackle a new project or help solve a design conundrum.

Take a look at some of my designs below...while they are not of the frugal variety, they do represent my aesthetic and style.

Cheers!

A Little "Worldly" Inspiration

by Colette Conway

The other day I was at World Market for a work-related errand, and are you surprised that I came back later that evening to do some browsing of myself?

I am always impressed with World Market's low prices and unique merchandise.  I'm definitely not in love with everything, but there is always plenty to get my Frugal Finds wheels churning.

Take a look at some of my favorites from World Market's "New Arrivals"!

Spring Has Sprung...Maybe?

by Colette Conway

Sorry for the absence of Frugal Finds as of late!  Sometimes, the life of a 24 year old just gets in the way.

If you're a Chicagoan like me, you know that this has been possibly one of the longest winters ever.  When will this gloomy weather ever cease?  Right now, it seems like never.

One way to trick yourself into believing that spring has finally sprung is by bringing fresh flowers into your home, of course accompanied by an equally as lovely vase.

One of the many things I miss about living in NYC is the bodegas with a variety of fresh blooms on every corner.  Although this isn't the norm here in Chicago, I am still making a point of bringing a hint of life into my apartment, even if there isn't any green to be seen outside.

Take a look at some of my favorite ways to house your blooms below!
