Favorite Color Combo: Blue + White

You may have guessed from my last post that I am kind of obsessed with the color combination of blue + white. It is classic, yet adds an effortless touch of chic to any space. It pairs well with a variety of hues - pink, green, yellow orange...you name it, blue + white looks great with it. Tres versatile!

My Wilmette client's living room is primarily blue and white, so it has especially been on my mind as of late.

I have been on the hunt for all things blue and white for them, and I wanted to share a few of my finds with you!

Get the Look: Blue and White Plate Wall

My client closed on their house yesterday, and I was so excited to finally see exactly what I was working with! I had seen numerous photos, but it was wonderful to be inside the space.

We have already purchased several amazing pieces (see previous post!), and one feature that I am thrilled to incorporate is a wall of blue and white porcelain plates (like photo above).

I have been on the hunt for similar plates in various antique stores in and around Chicago looking for the perfect fits for our "blue and white porcelain plate gallery wall". My client and I agree, we are obsessed with this look.

If you don't have access to antique stores, even try such places as Home Goods and estate sales...you never know what you can find! As far as online goes, definitely check out eBay and Etsy (two of my solutions to just about any design need).

Pardon the Hiatus!

Hello again Frugal Finds readers! My sincerest apologies for the recent hiatus. I started a design project for an adorable young family who purchased their first home in Wilmette, and it has been taking up most of my time (in the best way possible!).

As a family with a young child, these clients wanted to make their home not only chic but comfortable and practical.

I have been searching high and low to find amazing, unique finds at enviable prices. It is quite a bit of work, but I love every minute of it!

Take a look at some of the finds that I am most proud of. It is a total rush finding something amazing at an even more amazing price. In the best interest of the client, I not able to reveal the source or the price, but trust me they are all great deals and steals!
