Spoonflower Love: Domesticate

by Colette Conway

I absolutely love Spoonflower, a community for artists to showcase and sell their prints as fabrics (much like Etsy, but solely for textiles).  I frequently browse the site to see what is new and interesting, and this bold leaf print (see below) immediately caught my eye.  Fiddle leaf fig trees and inspired decor are big right now, so it is no wonder that it was love at first sight with this pattern.

I then browsed designer Andrea Whalen's shop (called Domesticate), and her patterns are stunning.  From geometric to Indian inspired, her work is so chic and beautiful.

Take a look at some of my favorites!

Did I mention that all patterns on Spoonflower's basic cotton are $17.50/yard?  I used a fabric Spoonflower for the backing of a pillow, and a yard was more than enough.
