Today's beach day included collecting shells by the shore, and I knew I wanted to bring them home and make them into something decorative for my apartment. Of course, I could just display them as is, but I love the idea of a seashell/beach theme wreath like the ones below...

Beachcomber's Wreath, $59 from L.L. Bean

Sea Glass Wreath, $99 from L.L. Bean

Seashell and Dried Floral Wreath, $42.46

Driftwood Shell Wreath, $45 from Etsy

I do love these wreaths, but why not make it into a DIY with the shells I collected? If you don't have your own shells that you picked up from the beach, they can be easily ordered online. Furthermore, I think the sea glass wreath is also very interesting. Sea glass is also readily available online.
Pick up one of the wreath forms below, some seashells/seaglass and a hot glue gun, and voila! You have yourself your very own beach themed wreath for your home.
