The horrid six letter word that every college graduate dreads and knows far too well: B-U-D-G-E-T
As a lifelong design junkie, I love all things beautiful. However, living in New York sucks the life out of your bank account, and unfortunately, young New Yorkers like myself have to pick and choose what they really need (ok, more like want).
Hence, the creation of Frugal Finds. The premise is simple: with x amount of money, wouldn't you rather buy more inexpensive (yet equally chic) items than far fewer expensive ones? That paycheck will only go so far. Between The Standard, Dorrian's, Equinox, Intermix, cabs to the West Village and the inevitable cabs of shame home in the morning, money for decorating and design may be hard to come by. So at Frugal Finds, the selection of affordable items should make you breath a sigh of relief, for then you can have your Moroccan pouf and eat your chicken pot pie at the Waverly Inn, too!
